Description

Jian ware tea bowl in China or tenmoku tea bowl in Japan is one of the most influential function ware designs in Asian tea culture. With an inspiration from its characteristic shape, Tōsei’s “tenmoku” series is a translation, refinement and transformation of the past tradition in our present time.

Each piece in this series is unique, thrown on the wheel and then applied with radiant and distinctive glazes by ceramic artist Longfei at tōsei studio located in central Copenhagen
